Ivan Berets spent a decade as a professional racing driver before turning to watchmaking, an experience he credits with sharpening the precision and focus now evident in his work. A 2025 graduate of the Korpela & Hofs Watchmaking Competence Centre in Switzerland, trained to build watches entirely by hand using manual machines, he designed and built the prototype for what became the Series 1 during his studies. He is now based in Desenzano del Garda, Italy, establishing his own workshop in a region with limited recent independent watchmaking presence. A second prototype, completed in September 2026, confirmed the design's viability, the feasibility of its machining, and the finishing level intended for the eventual Series 1 — part of an openly ongoing process of refinement as the watch continues to develop.

The Series 1 is built around a rectangular case and a distinctive crown set at 12 o'clock, offered in two moods: Oscuro, darker and more restrained, its dial and balance bridge coated in black rhodium against heat-purple hands and screws; and Levante, lighter, its dial and balance bridge in rose gold against heat-blued hands and screws, with finishes across the line highly customisable. The case measures 30mm by 34.5mm, 44.5mm lug-to-lug, 6.3mm thick, in 316L steel with polished, brushed, and concave-bevelled surfaces, sapphire front and exhibition back, rated to 30 metres of water resistance.

Inside is an in-house calibre based on the Peseux 7001, its three-quarter plate and mainplate in solid German silver or palladium plating, balance bridge, regulator, and serial-number plate finished in black rhodium or rose gold, its bridge screws heat-treated to blue or purple and its ratchet and crown wheels given a distinctive 'vortex' snailing pattern. It runs 17 jewels at 21,600 vibrations per hour with 45 hours of reserve, priced at 16,000 euros excluding tax and limited to 20 pieces per configuration.
