Lucky Harvey is a Hong Kong brand of mechanical watches that do something unexpected: spin a roulette wheel, roll slot-machine reels, tumble dice, open the wings of a bee, move a lion's tongue or strike a chime on the hour. It sells directly online from Lucky Harvey Limited, registered in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, with prices from about $799 to $2,399 and limited editions released in numbered batches.

The brand's own story describes the founder only as a watchmaker who believes mechanical objects should spark joy, and says the brand grew from an independent atelier into a recognised name in modern automata watchmaking, with a debut at a Hong Kong watch fair. It lists honorary awards from 2023 but gives no dates or founder's name. Monochrome's coverage of Atelier Mephalie, the Shanghai revival launched in October 2026, reports that the man behind that brand, Lin Xiaolin, is also behind Lucky Harvey. The brand aims to make automata watches affordable compared with the established Swiss makers, favouring originality and storytelling over conventional luxury, and ships to more than 100 countries. Physical stores are listed in Singapore, in several malls in the Kuala Lumpur area of Malaysia, and in Paris, and there is a separate store for India.

The Casino Series, at $999 to $1,199, is the best known. The European Roulette has a 37-number wheel that spins to a random number when a pusher is pressed, the Slots Machine rolls two reels and a number window when its trigger is pulled, the Sic Bo tumbles three silver dice, the Poker Roulette uses a 52-card wheel with two gold balls, and the Three Card Poker has a push-button card shuffle. Only the Slots Machine is a strict limited edition, at 100 numbered pieces per colourway. The Craftsmanship Series is built around zodiac and milestone designs: a Dragon automaton, the Snake in automatic and enamel chiming versions, a chiming Horse, Rabbits, and a Skull limited to 111 pieces. The brand says its dials are sculpted in 925 sterling silver and hand-engraved and hand-painted in enamel, and gives edition sizes of 588 for the silver Rabbit and 100 for the enamel chiming Snake, with prices from $1,399 to $2,399.

The Sound of Nature series, from $1,499 to $2,399, consists of hour-chiming watches, mostly with grade 5 titanium cases: a chime strikes automatically at each hour rather than on demand, and a button on the case silences it. Dials include hand-engraved brushed finishes, guilloché in several colours, and Muonionalusta meteorite, the last priced at $2,399 and partly sold out, and the brand gives edition sizes from 50 pieces for the guilloché colourways to 300 for the others. The Fun Series includes a Honey Bee automaton whose wings open on the hour, an Owl with a day-and-night cycle, Lion Dance watches whose eyes tell the time and whose tongue pops out hourly, and a limited White Tiger, from $799 to $1,199. The Dynasty Series opens with chiming Genghis Khan watches in titanium and engraved 925 silver at $2,199, and the Sports Series offers World Football limited editions at $1,199, limited to 100 pieces according to the brand's FAQ. The brand says each limited-edition watch is individually numbered and that a closed edition will not be remade.

Many technical details are not published. The site describes the watches as automatic mechanical, with in-house calibres for the automaton complications, but names no calibre, gives no case sizes or water-resistance ratings for individual models, and its general pages contain wording about quartz, Japanese movements and models that do not appear in the product listings, so those statements are not relied on here. Watches carry a two-year international warranty and ship free worldwide. This listing draws only on the brand's own website, whose copy is promotional, and not on independent reviews, and the founder's role comes from the Monochrome reference above rather than from the brand's pages.
