At the technical heart of every Montero is the Japanese Seiko NH34 automatic GMT movement, chosen specifically for its reliability, smooth operation, and true dual-time functionality; it offers approximately 41 hours of power reserve and supports both automatic winding through wrist motion and manual winding via the crown. The left crown is dedicated to manually aligning the beach/world-time reference ring to a wearer's preferred destination or timezone, while the automatic GMT movement continues running independently and uninterrupted — a mechanical separation that lets the beach-reference bezel be repositioned freely without disturbing the watch's actual timekeeping. The central world map carries luminous elements designed to glow in low light, and the case is built from 316L stainless steel with polished and brushed finishing, fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal; each watch measures 41mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness. Every Montero ships with both a genuine leather strap and an additional heavy-duty nylon strap, backed by a 3-year international warranty covering manufacturing defects and accompanied by an NFC-enabled digital warranty card that owners can access directly through their smartphone.
The collection is currently offered in two collectible editions sharing the same world-time DNA and engineering: the English Edition, using conventional numerals and global reference points, and the Regional Arabic Edition — the Abbāra Edition — produced in a strictly limited run of 150 individually numbered pieces, its blue dial inspired by the shoreline at Jumeirah, finished with Eastern Arabic numerals and a limited-edition caseback engraving unique to the run.
