Revelot
Revelot was born in 2017 from the humble confines of a small garage in Kuala Lumpur, founded by a passionate watch enthusiast determined to create timepieces that go beyond ordinary fashion watches. The brand's name is itself a small piece of wordplay with intent behind it: a blend of 'Revel,' signifying joyful celebration, and 'Zealot,' representing unwavering passion — an ethos the brand describes as centred on celebrating life through functional, elegant, and affordable design. Revelot's stated aspiration is to provide a genuine entry point into fine watch collecting, drawing subtle design inspiration from mid-century classics and fusing vintage cues with modern refinement, while positioning its watches as an alternative to what it calls 'overpriced fashion clutter.' The brand's affordability strategy is explicit: selling directly to customers online, bypassing traditional retail intermediaries and heavy marketing spend, and redirecting those savings into better materials and features instead.
The men's collection spans a wide range of case architectures and price points: the Mecadromo and Gentus dress-oriented lines; the Universal; the Veloce R9 and Racer R8; the three-generation Hexmariner dive watch family (Hexmariner 39 V2, Hexmariner 42 V2, and the newest Hexmariner V3), including a themed Hexmariner Mahjong Edition; the Admiral GMT; the Lima Flieger pilot's watch; and the Terra 38, a compact everyday field-adjacent reference. The women's range includes the Gentus 36 and Universal 36 (scaled versions of their men's counterparts), the Quartz R3, Chrono R4, and Femme R5. Revelot also produces its own line of wallets (the Smart W1, Slim W2, Smart Mini W3, Slim Pro W4, Unisex W5, Travel W6, and Modular W7) alongside a full range of aftermarket leather, NATO, steel, rubber, and FKM straps across multiple lug widths, extending its accessible-design philosophy beyond watches into everyday carry.
The newest and most ambitious release is Terrafin, a small collection expanding on Revelot's earlier Nishikigoi watch and drawing inspiration from freshwater and saltwater fish species — Parrotfish, Arowana, and Arapaima references form the launch lineup. Each Terrafin dial is built from genuine mother-of-pearl using a range of specialised techniques, from hand-tessellated mosaic MOP to precision CNC-engraved Tahitian MOP; the Terrafin Parrotfish in particular uses a distinctive colouring process that shifts across deep blue, turquoise, and green depending on the angle and lighting. The case retains Revelot's established Terra architecture in 316L stainless steel, with angular bullhorn-style lugs, a domed 'hat' sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a lumed screw-down onion crown, 100m water resistance, and a screw-down exhibition caseback revealing the Miyota 9039 automatic movement (24 jewels, 28,800 bph, 42-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, hand-winding capable) beneath a gold fish-scale-patterned rotor. Given the complexity and scarcity of skilled mosaic MOP dial makers, Terrafin deliveries are scheduled from October 2026, offered through an early-bird pricing structure for the first 30 pieces per variant and a 50/50 deposit payment plan, with Revelot covering US import duties and tariffs on shipments to American customers.
