Vyntage Horology

Vyntage Horology was founded by Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, part of the prominent Seddiqi family behind Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the UAE's leading distributor of Swiss watches for more than 70 years. The brand was created to give a platform to independent international designers, working out of Paris, who otherwise had no showcase for their work — pieces conceived as free creative expression rather than marketing-led design, watches meant to whisper their difference rather than announce it. Every watch is designed, constructed, and assembled in Switzerland in collaboration with independent designers and small workshops, then produced exclusively for the UAE market; production runs are deliberately small, with each design treated as a limited boutique edition rather than a mass-market release.

The range splits mainly into two families: Purity, simpler dress watches distinguished by their varied dial textures and finishes, from hammered aluminium to genuine Grand Feu enamel and Hindi numerals, and Monograph, a line of manual-winding mono-pusher chronographs, several also finished with Grand Feu enamel dials in white or blue. Two more recent launches sit apart from those families: Strata, an ultra-thin Grade 5 titanium sports watch with an integrated bracelet, and Vyntage RS, a 39mm aluminium piece with a carbon dial.

Unveiled at Dubai Watch Week 2025, Strata is built entirely from Grade 5 titanium, its sculptural integrated bracelet flowing directly into a 40mm case that measures just 8.92mm thick, with 100 metres of water resistance and sapphire crystals front and back. Inside is the Vaucher Calibre VHM-3.01, an automatic movement with an off-centred tungsten micro-rotor, variable-inertia balance, and rapid-rotation barrel, running 29 jewels across 160 components for 48 hours of reserve.
