Parmigiani Fleurier
Founded on May 29, 1996 at the Grand Salon Sandoz of the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Parmigiani Fleurier was born from a lifelong devotion to restoration and the mechanical arts. Michel Parmigiani — Prix Gaïa laureate 1995 — trained as a master restorer, spending decades preserving exceptional horological masterpieces for the Sandoz Family Foundation.
His philosophy: 'Restoration taught me that creation begins with understanding what came before. By reviving the past, you learn to build the future with coherence and gratitude. Perfection is not an end; it's a way of being.' His lifelong passion for nature's perfection and the Golden Ratio profoundly shaped his designs. The Maison launched in 1996 with 52 references — from elegant simplicity to haute complications. Supported by the Sandoz Foundation, Parmigiani Fleurier operates a fully integrated manufacture in Val de Travers, where nearly 350 artisans craft every component in-house.
