Klanic
Klanic is a family-driven independent Swiss watchmaking brand born from three years of shared passion, conversation, and complementary expertise. The name is inspired by the word 'clan' — each letter taken from the first name of one of the six family members behind the project.
The brand stands for respect for work well done, attachment to Swiss watchmaking tradition, and the desire to create with sincerity and commitment at fair prices. Every watch is conceived, decorated, assembled, and finished in the family atelier; when needed, they draw on the expertise of Manufactor SA — the finishing workshop in L'Abbaye founded by Philippe Narbel (also behind Narbel & Co) — which shares the same commitment to excellence and transmission of savoir-faire.
The debut KLA-001 comes in two colour versions: rose gold (KLA-001-ROG, with 5N rose gold plated mainplate and rhodium bridges) and anthracite grey (KLA-001-AGY, fully rhodium). Both are based on Unitas 6305N movements from 1961–65, carefully selected for quality and robustness, with the centre seconds bridge and balance bridge entirely redesigned and machined anew. All angle decoration is done entirely by hand — no CNC — to preserve and transmit authentic watchmaking savoir-faire. 39.4mm x 10mm stainless steel case, German silver sandblasted dial with PVD colouring, manual winding at 18,000vph. Limited to 12 numbered pieces per reference. 100% Swiss components.
